Mrs Alexandra Amoako - Mensah
Board Chairperson
Mrs. Alexandra Amoako-Mensah is consulting Geologist with over 40 years experience in the management of industrial minerals and has extensive knowledge in the application of rocks and minerals in industry. She also has expertise in organizational management and administration. She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Geochemistry (1971) from the Leeds University, U.K. and a Master of Science in Geology (1966) from the Leningrad University, USSR. She also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Ceramic Science and Technology (1977) at the Alfred University, New York, USA, and a Senior Management Development Certificate (1986) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra, among many other professional qualifications.
She has also served for many years on local and international boards and technical committees including UN Scientific and Technical Committee (STC) on the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR) (1990 – 1997), Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) (1991 – 1994), Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) (1992 – 1995 & 2008 – 2015), the Minerals Commission (2001 – 2008) and the Governing Council of GNPC Learning Foundation (2014 – 2017). She was the Secretary General of Geological Society of Africa (1988 – 1993) and also served as the President of the Ghana Institution of Geoscientists (GHIG) (2006 – 2017).
She is credited with several technical, research and development publications.

Seth A. Larmie, MSc
Executive Chairman
Mr. Seth A Larmie is the Executive Chairman Officer of SAL Consult Limited. He holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Sciences (Hydrology and Water Resources). He has over 30 years of consultancy and research experience in the monitoring and evaluation of water and environmental policies, programmes and plans.
He has led many projects to prepare environmental and social impact assessment reports, environmental and social management frameworks, resettlement and livelihood planning, management plans, monitoring and water resources assessments, and water supply and sanitation.
His assignments have satisfied the World Bank (IDA), IFC, and African Development Bank Safeguards policies. He has worked on projects funded by the Ghana Government, European Union, DANIDA, World Bank, CIDA, UNEP etc.
He has issued numerous technical and consultancy reports. His international consulting and research experience spans across Europe and the West African sub- region. He is also involved in teaching at the post- graduate level at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Ing. Joseph Payne, MSc
Chief Executive Officer/ Head Water and Sanitation
Ing. Joseph Payne has 20 years’ experience in Planning, Design and Supervision of water supply and sanitation projects, preparation of Tender Documents and Training Manuals as well as the Evaluation of Tender Documents. He has experience in system softwares such as EPANET, AUTOCAD, and GRUNDFOS/WINCAPS
Mr. Joseph Payne is a Senior Water Engineer with a Master of Science degree in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation and A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering both from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
He has undertaken numerous projects in various regions of the country. Other areas of interest include hydrological assessment for water baseline studies, water quality monitoring, community entry, and mobilization. He is also experienced in training of caretakers for Small Towns Water Supply Facilities.
He is the Head of the Water and Sanitation Department of the company.

Akosua A. Opoku- Darko, MBA
Head of Administration & HR
Akosua A. Opoku-Darko has a Master of Business Administration degree from Australian Institute of Business (AIB), Australia and Bachelor of Science degree in Water and Sanitation from the University of Cape Coast. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management in Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Certificate of Higher Education in Business Administration (HR Option) from the International Organisation for Capacity Building (IOCB), UK.
She initially joined SAL as a Water and Sanitation Specialist but has transferred to the Administration Department and is currently heading the Administration Department. She is active in developing policies and procedures for the sustainable management of the company as well as contributing to the day-to-day administrative management of SAL.

Emmanuel N. A. Addo, MSc
Environmental Monitoring Scientist
Mr. Emmanuel N. A. Addo is an Environmental Scientist and Consultant with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Sustainability and Management, from University of Ghana (Wisconsin International University College) and a B.Sc. in Forest Resources Technology, from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Ghana.
Mr. Emmanuel Addo has experience in Environmental Baseline Studies, Environmental Monitoring, and has conducted Environmental Assessments for Infrastructural projects. He also has experience in database management.
He develops location maps, as well as geology, soil and time change maps to enhance environmental assessments, for projects.

Wilson Amaning Asamoah, MPhil
Head, Environment
Wilson A. Asamoah is an Environmental Consultant, and Head of the Environment Department at SAL Consult Limited. He holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Environmental Science from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds a Certificate in Project Cycle Management from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Wilson has experience in Environmental Assessments, Environmental and Social Management Frameworks, Resettlement Action Planning and Occupational Health and Safety Audits. He has conducted Environmental Health and Safety audits for mining and Infrastructural projects.

Evelyn King Ankrah, MSc.
Project Manager.
Evelyn King Ankrah (Mrs) is an Environmental Specialist with over 8 years’ experience in environmental and social management in the Mining, Oil & Gas and Construction within Ghana and the West African Sub Region.
She has both Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. She is a Certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, Ghana.
Evelyn also holds a Certificate in Project Cycle Management from the University of Ghana

Maxwell Amedzie, HSSE
Health and Safety Officer
Maxwell is a certified Occupational Heath and Safety Practitioner from The National Examination Board (NEBOSH) UK as well as Institution of Occupational Safety (IOSH), UK. He also holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply from the Accra Technical University.
Maxwell has experience and working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety best industry practices and standards. He has conducted Health Safety Environmental and Security Audits for numerous electrification and construction projects.

Nii Ayi Larmie, MA
Head, Finance, MA
Nii Ayi Larmie is an Accountant with a Master of Arts degree in Finance from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Concordia College Moorhead, Minnesota.
He is the Head of Finance, responsible for overseeing the financial health of SAL Consult limited, He has enhanced the set up of the online accounting system, and assisted in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning system.
He has over five years’ post-graduate experience in practice. In U.S.A., he worked with Gannett Publishing Services where he trained in logistics and Financial Services. Back in Ghana, he worked with Lobban Hyde Chartered Accountants for three years before joining SAL Consult Limited in 2020.

Matilda A. Mensah, BBA
Senior Administrative Assistant
Matilda a. Mensah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Methodist University College, and a Diploma in Business Studies from Best Business Colleague, Accra.
Matilda has experience in Administrative and Accounting roles, and hence provides support for the running of the Administration and Accounts Departments.

Abena Offei Nyarko
Assistant Facilities Administrator
Abena Nyarko Offei (Mrs) holds a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Jayee Professionals Training Institute in Accra. She has subsequently benefited from various training programmes at MDPI and GIMPA. Mrs. Nyarko Offei has over 15 years working experience and provides support in development of the human resource capacity and growth of SAL.

Felix Darkwa
Transport Coordinator
Mr Felix Darkwa is a Principal Driver with over 20 years of experience in Driving. He has undergone a number of training on “Defensive Driving” organised by Intercity Coaches Ghana Limited and eXL Management.
He assists in the coordination of activities within the transport section of the Administration and HR Department.
