Sierra Leone Sustainable Tourism Development Project (SLSTDP)- Freetown
The Sierra Leone Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs is undertaking Sustainable Tourism Development Project (STDP), an integrated destination approach to improving the performance of Sierra Leone’s Tourism Sector. The project with funding from the World Bank seeks to achieve this aim through facilitating the reduction of barriers to business success, assisting existing tourism providers with market access, and improving the quality of selected tourism products in order to place the country’s tourism sector on a sustainable and inclusive growth trajectory.
SAL consultants have been hired to prepare a Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF) that sets out actions for addressing and mitigating potential adverse social impacts of the Project. The Resettlement Policy Framework is a statement of the policy, principles, institutional arrangements and procedures that the SLSTDP will follow in each light civil works package defined for funding and which may involve resettlement- related activities.
